My Diary: Post notes and capture your thoughts into your online personal diary instantly
My Graffiti Wall: Your (Only) friends can send you a free SMS via your graffiti wall and you in turn can respond back to them from your mobile phone through a simple SMS
Other Notifications: You can choose to be notified about your events in your calendar, any new comments, messages, friend requests you have received.

| What all mobile phones can be used? |
| Any mobile phone which supports SMS can be used for the mobile features at Indyarocks. |

| In which countries is the service enabled? |
| Currently, only a member who is residing in India can register his mobile phone with Indyarocks.com. However friends from across the globe can send free SMS to a member with a registered mobile phone. |

| How do
I enable my mobile phone for the free SMS service? |
Go to "Edit Profile"
Click on "Account Settings" tab
Register Mobile
Enter the verification code sent to your mobile
Check the Notifications you wish to receive on your mobile, Click Update

| What if I have not received the verification code? |
Some times due to a problem on the Operator side you may not receive the verification code. So in case you have not received the code or deleted it please re-register your mobile one more time (by clicking on Change Mobile on http://indyarocks.com/account_settings.php and entering the number) and get a new code sent to your mobile.
If problem is not resolved please report to us by clicking on Contact Us link in the footer. PLease make sure you send the mobile number along with your complaint.

I access Indyarocks on my mobile phone? |
Go to http://m.indyarocks.com and login with your username and password.
Click on My Profile link in the footer or press 1 on the keypad to go to your profile page.
Click on Browse Profiles link in the footer or press 2 on the keypad to search profiles.
Click on Movieplex link in the footer or press 3 on the keypad to go to the Movieplex page.
Note: You cannot register for a new Indyarocks account using the mobile version. |

| How do
I send FREE sms using Indyarocks? |
Register your mobile if you wish to send sms to non-member mobiles as well. Othewise you will only be able to send sms to your friends who have registered their mobile on Indyarocks (Note: Only Indian mobile numbers can be registered on Indyarocks).
Please click on "Send free SMS" under Main Menu Mobile.
Select the member or non-member option to send FREE sms.
To allow your friends on Indyarocks to send you FREE sms please check the Graffitti setting under Mobile notifications on the Mobile page.

| How does Mobile Graffiti wall work ? |
| Once you have enabled your mobile settings, all members who are part of your friends network will see a “Send SMS” option in your Graffiti wall (you will not see the option) using which they can send a free SMS. Similarly, if your friends have enabled their mobile settings, you will be able to send them an SMS through their graffiti wall. |
How do I respond/post a message to my friends Graffitti wall from my mobile phone?

“My Diary” is
your online personal diary. You can use it to make notes,
capture your thoughts/feelings at a particular moment.
Users on the move can write to their personal diary on Indyarocks by sending a simple SMS to 09773270001 from their registered mobile phone in the following format: |

| SMS Calendar |
| Get event reminders on the move using the mobile calendar feature in Indyarocks. To get reminders on your mobile please register your mobile on Indyarocks and make sure the Calendar setting under Mobile Settings is checked. |
| Group SMS |
You can send FREE sms to a group of friends on Indyarocks by clicking on the My Friends link under the Friends Menu or the Group SMS link under the Mobile menu.
How to create a Friend Group on Indyarocks?
Please visit My Friends page under Friends Menu and click on Group Settings button.
Select New to create a new group or select an existing group to edit.
Click on Save to save the group or Delete button to delete the selected group.
Once a group is created select the Friends on the My Friends page and click on Edit Group and select the Group the friend should be part of.
Note: To create a group you need to have at least one friend on Indyarocks. |

| I forgot my Login ID/Password. How can I retrieve it? |
| On the home page click on the link that says Forgot Login ID/Password. Fill out the the registered email address and click submit. Your login details will be mailed to your registered email address. |
| How can I change my Login ID/Password? |
| Login ID cannot be changed but you can change your password.
Go to Edit Profile by clicking on the Update Profile link below your profile picture on your My Life page.
Choose Account Settings tab. Here you will find the option to change your password. Once you change the password click Update. |

You can change your profile name any number of times by changing your first name and last name.
Go to “My Life”. Click on Update Profile link below your profile picture. Choose Basic tab. Now you will find an option to change your first name and last name. Once you make your changes click Update. |

You can change your profile picture any number of times.
Go to “My Life”. Click on Change Photo link below your profile picture. Now click Browse and select the new picture. Once selected you can choose to crop the picture in order to select the desired area of a picture. Acceptable formats for profile pictures are JPG,JPEG,PNG and GIF. |

| How can I change the look and feel of My Profile page? |
| You can change the look and feel by following these simple steps : |
- Go to My Life page and Click on "Change Theme" link below your Profile Picture.
- On the Profile Themes page select the Category such as Games, Dreamy or any other available category.
- Click on the theme you want to apply. Your profile page theme will be changed accordingly.
- There is NO LIMIT on the number of times you can change your profile theme.

Block User

Occasionally you might encounter users who may cause some trouble to you. Indyarocks enables you to avoid further encounters with such users by preventing them from accessing your page; you can visit their profile page and find a link named "Block him" on the left hand side of the page below their profile picture.

How to Unblock a user?
Visit your My Life page and click on Bookmarks link below your profile picture. On the Bookmarks page click on the x mark to remove the user from the blocked list.

Friend Connect

| How can I connect with/make new friends on Indyarocks? |
You can make your experience at Indyarocks more exciting by having more friends.
One way to increase your friends number is by using the "Friend Connect" link in the "Friends" Menu. On that page you can find options to find people from your school/college or/and whose interest/activities match yours.
For this feature to be effective you need to fill your personal profile information so that we can try to find people based on that information.

| How can I find Friends who are already on Indyarocks? |
Click on “Friends” and in the sub-menu you can find a link called "Find Friends".
You can enter your email id and password of various email service providers and using the import tool you can view all your friends who are already registered at Indyarocks. If you find that none of your friends are registered at Indyarocks, using the same tool you can invite them to join you.
Please note that we respect your privacy and we never store your contact list when you use the import tool. |

| How do I report inappropriate content? |
There is a report abuse link available at all potential points of source i.e photos, blogs, forums etc. You can use the link to send us the info about why you find the particular content offensive. You can also use the "Contact Us" form in the footer to get in touch with us.
How do I report spammers/imposters/underage users?
You can use the "Contact Us" form to report about spammers/imposters.
What can I do when some one on Indyarocks.com is harassing, threatening or troubling me?

It is Indyarocks policy to 1) Block access to or remove material that we believe/find out is copyrighted material which has been illegally copied/distributed by any of our users on Indyarocks. 2) Stop Indyarocks service to repeat offenders.

By setting the security options for your profile you can control who can view your profile page. To set the desired privacy for your profile, you can visit "Account Settings" under your "Edit Profile" section and select the desired option for "Show Profile" (either friends or every one).

| Who can rate my profile? |
Only your friends on Indyarocks can rate you.
How can I know who has rated me?
In your My Life page, click on the Ratings link below your profile picture to see who has rated you. This feature has been
enabled on 18th june 2007. Therefore any ratings that you had received prior to 18th june 2007 will continue to remain anonymous.
Can I also unrate a person?
Yes. You can unrate a person whom you had already rated. Visit the person's profile page and then click on the "Rate User" link. On the resulting window click the "x" button below the desired rating to unrate. |
