A few days back we had informed you about Sanjay Dutt having signed young director Soham (of Kaal fame) to direct an action adventure film for his production house. The film has been titled India and the buzz is that the film may star none other than Amitabh Bachchan in all probability.

Bollywood Hungama spoke to Soham confirming this news, "Yes, I am directing a film for Sanjay Dutt Productions. It's an action adventure film called India. As for the cast, all I can say is that the film will have 5 major characters. Mr. Sanjay Dutt is in talks with Mr.Amitabh Bachchan for one of the main characters but it's yet to be finalized. We are also in talks with Zayed Khan for one of the characters. It's too early to talk about the cast since we are still narrating the scripts to the actors. The film should go on floors sometime in the middle of next year."

Meanwhile, Soham is busy finishing Luck which stars Imran Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ravi Kishan, Shruti Hassan etc. "Yes ...Luck is almost 90% complete. I have one schedule to wrap up in South Africa in Jan 2009. Luck should be out in the summer of 2009."

Well, after a not-so-successful start with Dharma Productions' Kaal, young and talented Soham surely seems to be going places.
