Been into the process of registering the script, So for the people who are willing to register here is the process to be followed

If you are a beginner in the script, then you will be taken as a Associate member, if your name has appeared on the screen before, then you can apply for Life Member. with an amount of Rs 16,000.
Once you pay 8000 then your membership can be upgraded just by paying an other 8000.
Make sure you collect the receipt and the ID card after the amount is paid.
Associate member should pay an amount of Rs 8000, and for every 20 pages of script there is an additional amount of Rs 200.
Once the script is shown, a registration form is given so as to fill it with the name of the script.
Scripts are only registered on Saturdays between 4:00pm to 6:00 pm
Make sure registration of the script is with some alias name, as the script name is not authorized for the movie name. Your script name can be picked up by any other person and he can take the movie.
If your a member in directors association, then they have to get a xerox copy of their membership along with a clearance letter from their association.
Scripts are classified into following types
Story, Synopsis, Scenic Order, Dialogue script, Shooting script
One of these options have to be selected, before registering the script.
A written proof stating that the script is original and not copied from any other movie or script should be attached with a signature.
If the script is hand written, then handwriting should be the same, and should use the same colour ink. If it is DTP the font should be of same size and type.
There should not be any blank paragraphs or any over writing in the script, or any additional attachments in between
The whole script will be registered only once, and any installment wise registrations are not allowed.
Then the writer has to fill the registration book, and sign it.
Once the registration is done, the script is then shown to the producer and the director.
These 3 people have to go to AP film chamber of Commerce at Jublie hills, just by the side of mohan babus house
There an other application form will be given with an affidavit on which producer, writer and director will be signing up.
A bank balance of min 3 lakhs have to be shown, as a fixed deposit. Then the AP film chambers will register a banner, for the cost of Rs 15,000.
After every 6 months the update has to be sent in the form of a cd or photographs that indicate that shooting is taking place for this banner, failing which the banner will be allocated to another producer.
So ive just started the journey, I will keep my blog updated based on the things i do.
First starting of with one script, let me see how can i market it for the big screen. LAter i will get the other 3 scripts out of the kiddy bank.
