At the heart of osteoarthritis is a progressive destruction of our natural shock absorber - articular cartilage aimed at reducing pressure on the movement of articulated bones, and ensure their smooth sliding relative to each other. With age, the cartilage breaks down food; they lose their elasticity and become thinner - in other words wear. In this joint grows, its surface becomes rough and uneven, the edges are formed bony outgrowths. There are first the pain of movement and load, which then often become painful character.

3. In severe osteoarthritis of the knee, try sitting on a stool, a little shake down. The amplitude of the motion should be small, so you do not experience pain. Do this exercise three times a day, first for a few minutes, gradually increasing their duration.

For the hip joint

1. Lying on his back on the floor, straighten one leg and raise it as high as possible, then slowly lower. Repeat with the other leg too. Exercise is carried out 10-15 times.

2. Also lying on the floor, make "scissors" straightened legs. If you find this difficult to move in the air, turn one foot, then another. Repeat this exercise 10-15 times.

3. In severe forms of arthritis: sitting on a chair (feet firmly on the floor), try to reduce and raise your knees. The amplitude of the motion shall not exceed a few centimeters and not cause pain. Do these exercise three times a day for a few minutes.

And now that you want to include in your diet. First of all, it's fruit - apples, plums, and berries: Rowan, cranberries, blackberries, in any form. In diseases of the joints are useful soy products, vegetable oil, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, green tea, and asparagus.

Curative effect has the infusion of the root celery. Rub it on a coarse grater, take one tablespoon, pour two cups of boiling water and let stand for four hours in a sealed pot, then strain and take two tablespoons 3-4 times a day 20 minutes before eating. And another tip: when the pain attacks do pack of slurry of fresh onion or garlic.
